As usual, there’s a lot to talk about. First of all, I’ve started reading through H.R.3200 (the health care bill), and there’s a very, very important section that you all need to read:
(A) IN GENERAL- Except as provided in this paragraph, the individual health insurance issuer offering such coverage does not enroll any individual in such coverage if the first effective date of coverage is on or after the first day of Y1.
So while supporters of this bill are telling everyone that they will be able to keep their current private insurance, what they’re leaving out is that they can not switch private insurers after the first year this law is in effect, because those insurers won’t be able to enroll new individuals. Section 102 goes on to state that insurers can’t change their terms, conditions, or benefits after the first year. What if a private insurer wants to create a new plan, or a completely new insurance company wants to offer health insurance? Section 102(c)(1) has you covered:
(1) IN GENERAL- Individual health insurance coverage that is not grandfathered health insurance coverage under subsection (a) may only be offered on or after the first day of Y1 as an Exchange-participating health benefits plan.
An “Exchange-participating health benefits plan” is a euphemism for “heavily regulated ‘private’ plan”. Section 203 describes exactly what that is, and what will be required of private insurers if they’re not “grandfathered in.” At what point do we begin to say that the government has overstepped its bounds? Is it when it stipulates the service packages a private organization can offer its customers? How much further do they need to go?
This bill will be a big topic on the show, as well as a few other things.. stay tuned..
I’ll also be discussing the Sotomayor “confirmation”, a little more on the cap & trade bill, and some foreign politics - tune in LIVE at 5!

As usual, we the people, cannot believe what president Obama is telling us. I have heard him on many occasions promising “the people” that we can keep our private health insurance plans if we are happy with them. THAT IS AN OUTRIGHT LIE!!! That was never his plan and anyone who takes the time to read the 1,018 page bill will find that out and probably much, much, more. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!! Start fighting for your freedom and liberty before it is taken away from you by the government. Call your representatives and tell them to vote no for H.R. 3200. Remember, we the people have the power to elect people who will represent us. We need to take our votes seriously.
